Mental Health

We Specialize in Various Aspects of Mental Health

We help people in the greater Seattle area, work through issues that are causing them great pain, or holding them back in life.
We offer In Person and Online Counseling.  Many of our clients report having been to a number of therapists before us, and have found that we offer them unique practices, perspectives and help that others have not provided.

Trauma & PTSD

Maybe it was one event, an accident, an assault, a loss — or maybe the danger has long passed but your body hasn't caught up: still scanning, still bracing, still reacting to reminders as if it's happening again. We help your nervous system finish what it couldn't at the time, so the memory becomes something that happened, not something that's still happening.

Complex trauma & C-PTSD

You can't point to one thing that seems “bad enough.” It was years — a childhood, a marriage, a home where the people who hurt you were also the people who cared for you. Now it shows up as self-doubt, anxiety, and relationships that never quite feel safe. This is complex trauma, and it's treatable, gently, at the body's pace, without you having to retell everything.

Anxiety & panic

The racing heart, the 3am spirals, the panic that arrives out of nowhere. Often anxiety isn't the problem itself, it's the alarm of a nervous system that learned, somewhere along the way, that the world isn't safe. We work with the alarm at its source, rather than only managing the symptoms.

Couples Therapy

When one or both of you carries trauma, the same fight keeps happening and neither of you can quite say why. Trauma-informed couples therapy helps you see the cycle — and the fear underneath it — so you can find each other again.

Religious trauma & cult recovery

Leaving a high-control faith or a cult can cost you your community, your family, and your certainty about reality itself, and the fear and shame often stay long after the beliefs are gone. Here, your faith won't be criticized and no belief will be pushed on you; our goal is only to help you reduce the fear. Several of us have lived this ourselves.

Sexual trauma

Whether it was recent or decades ago, whether you've told everyone or no one — you stay in control here. We work at whatever pace keeps you feeling safe, using body-based approaches that rebuild trust and safety without requiring you to relive the details.

Dissociation & DID

Feeling spaced out, watching your life from behind glass, losing time, or living with parts of yourself that feel separate. Dissociation is the mind's way of surviving what was too much. We treat it with respect and genuine, in-depth training, never stigma, and never Hollywood assumptions.

Military & combat trauma

Combat, deployments, and the transition home leave marks that civilian life doesn't always have language for. Hypervigilance that won't stand down, moral injury, the distance you feel from people who weren't there. Our team includes a former Navy officer, and we work with deep respect for military culture. Sessions are private, with no connection to any command, the VA, or your employer.

Divorce recovery

The end of a marriage can grieve like a death and destabilize like a crisis; identity, home, finances, sometimes your sense of what was real. We help you process the loss and the betrayal, steady your nervous system, and rebuild a life that's yours.

Codependency

If you've spent your life managing other people's feelings — earning love by being needed, losing track of where they end and you begin — that pattern usually began as a survival strategy. We help you trace it to its roots and build boundaries that feel safe rather than selfish.

Psychedelic Integration

A powerful experience — in ceremony, in treatment, or on your own — can surface more than it resolves. Integration therapy helps you make meaning of what came up and carry it into lasting change. We provide preparation and integration support only; we do not prescribe or administer.

You do not have to let fear define who you are.
